If you have a pet emergency go here! We started off at a local emergency vet and we made the decision to move our dog to NC State Animal Hospital. Within less than 8 hrs they had him moved out of ICU and into intermediate care. From the time we entered the emergency room doors to the time we left the following Tuesday, my husband and I were absolutely blown away by the care that we and Jayden were shown. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name but we had a four year student that went out of her way to keep us informed and brought in Dash during visits. She even text us pictures during his stay. It was very thoughtful and kind. The team was excellent. I was an emotional mess and they treated me kindly and with patience. They explained everything thoroughly. They updated us multiple times a day and allowed us to visit daily.

I was very happy with both of the staff I saw. The biggest thing to me is that a vet and his/her staff respect the way I feed Mylo. I homecook and treat holistically when possible. I am often made to feel guilty about this and was not made to feel that way at my appointment and truly appreciate that. I was also pleasantly surprised that surgery was not the first "go to" decision.
