My 2 oldest kids age 5 and 7 have done their camp now twice and absolutely love it. When my daughter first got dropped off in the pouring rain I just knew in my gut she wouldn’t stay but when I picked her up she was laughing and running around and didn’t want to leave! We will keep enrolling them and hopefully enroll our youngest 2 when it’s their turn to go.
Denise and Lake are the best, my kids love NC Nature school.

My son (age 11) has been involved in this program for 2 years now and the quality of the program is outstanding! Not only does he come home with some pretty cool survival skills and knowledge about our natural environment but he also has gained confidence, social skills and leadership skills. My son and I have been taking classes with Miss Denise and Mr. Lake for about a year and a half now. They are so great at what they do and it seems like they were made for this. Both have such a vast knowledge of the outdoors. But what stands out is not only their love of nature but their love for teaching others.
