Extremely disappointed in Farm Bureau. It’s frustrating that I can qualify for a home or car loan with no issue, yet I’m denied insurance based solely on credit. As a lifelong banker, this credit-only approach is concerning. My spouse and both parents are insured with Farm Bureau — but not for long. We’ll be moving to a provider that looks at the full picture, not just a number. Do better. Oh, and by the way, the credit issue was 5+ years ago due to health reasons. You people are a joke.

I have had a great experience working with Charles Adkins and Calleigh Mayes. They have been extremely helpful to me as a first time home buyer. A big plus too, it’s always them that I speak to when I call.

Buyer beware. No one would return calls or emails for weeks. Then they cancelled my insurance claiming my business is not eligible within their underwriting rules after I filed a complaint with the NC Insurance Commission. Bad Bad customer service, non responsive and I will never use them again Update: the Pender Office is much better

Farm Bureau cannot be relied on as a partner with your small business. For 2 years they provided a Gen. Liability policy for my company. They canceled it with no warning or notice leaving me completely exposed. They claim one of my services was the reason for cancelation. But I have always provided that service, and had certainly disclosed it. Its like 25% of my business. Now I'm on my second day of lost revenue while we try to find new coverage. Employees and bills still have to be paid.
