I had home owners insurance for 4 years and every year the cost increased. Finally I made the effort to shop around and found that I was over paying by about $200 a month. Also the communication with the agent has been practically non-existent . When I cancelled my policy they received a payment from my escrow account and 30 days later I am still waiting for the refund to be received. We have had insurance with Farm Bureau for 4 years in NC and probably 12 in another state. My daughter had a minor accident and she’s 19, I’m being advised that they will be canceling our policy. We have never had an auto claim. Take your business elsewhere! Edited to add: Jordan Morris (adjuster) refused to give a breakdown of the claim that they are canceling my policy over and advised the other vehicle is totaled ($23,213.67 damages). Tammy, Lori, and the rest of the staff are great. I was in a wreck last year and after 1phone call they had everything arranged in taking care of within a matter of minutes.
