I am unsure which location to leave this review for, so I am just leaving it here. I moved out of NC 5 years ago. To this date, I get a packet in the mail once a month from NC DHHS PO Box 613 Morrisville, NC asking me to update my information. Multiple times I have mailed back telling them that I have moved out of state and no longer want their mail, yet they keep sending me junk anyway. Not only is this a huge waste of paper, but their harassment is akin to a parasite that you can't get rid of. I am going to write back one ... read more
you cannot get anyone on the phone that this number is just recorded messages and AI a complete waste of time so take the day off of work or two days or 3 days or week off of work drive to the office sit in their office and wait and see if you can actually get in touch with anyone they do not have enough staff to process anything that is what the problem comes from but make sure you call that number to contact them 🤡

So I’m not certain I even know others who have received SNAP, but due to several years of DV and financial abuse by my daughter’s father, I applied and received benefits. It has been the most difficult benefit to maintain. When I renew, I am often initially denied. DHHS as a whole has been pretty decent, but everyone with whom I’ve dealt regarding SNAP has been pretty adversarial. Most recently, I renewed timely in May of 2025.
