Dr. Matthews is one of the kindest and attentive headache specialist I’ve ever worked with. I have had migraine attacks since I was a child, they have since become chronic in the last 10 years. This doctor is innovative and always thinking outside the box of ways he can help me.

AMAZING doctor and I don’t say that lightly. He knows EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), understands the messed up stuff EDS patients face, and incorporates this into his care. He listens, affirms, asks inquisitive questions to gain a better understanding, and believes the reality of our symptoms. I have also heard nothing but great things about him from the couple other EDS patients I know who have gone to him. OTHER DOCTORS NEED TO TAKE POINTERS FROM HIM. THANK YOU DR. MATTHEWS.

After a referral from my doctor six weeks ago and several phone calls from myself, I finally got someone on the phone from this headache clinic. They do not take fax referrals from doctors, do not take any insurance, and the out of pocket costs are outrageous for those who can’t afford to be self insured. Let’s not forget that they don’t return voice messages, too. Cannot recommend.

I had a migraine for ten years - where I used to wake up and go to bed with a headache. Imagine a world where you are constantly in pain.
