I'm Totally Not impressed with this bank or the experience, I closed my Previous account with another bank because they kept allowing System and Data and personal information breaches to occur, Now I'm banking with unprofessional bankers who act inconvenienced when you have an account issue that was noticed when the account was activated and opened and the issue is still there and it has been over a month, then getting hung up on by Customer service repeatedly when informed to Contact them is unacceptable, save yourself the ... read more
My debit card was stolen and used for cash app , uber and mirabito. And because I have used all three in the past, they refuse to honor the fact my debit card was stolen and denied all charges as fraud. My card was stolen along with my driver's license and my phone. They had no way to contact me regarding the dispute even. That should tell you that the fraud dispute was in fact something I did not do! Look at the accounts and places the card was charged. Horrible bank. Did buisness with evans bank for 15 years. Now I'm leaving with it being nbt. Had notting but fee's because they are not sending bills to right adress in the first place. Had transactions that were not atorized. Then they cancel my card. Paid to over night it. A week later there telling me it still takes 5 buisness days. Every time I call them its an hour wasted on the phone. Horrible bank. Stay away.
Absolutely the worst bank ever. The online banking apparently takes holidays as well. Deposited a check should of been there instantly still waiting on it. So now I have to figure out how to pay all my bills while I wait for nbt to get there shit together. My husbands ex wife was able to make the online banking account and NBT took zero responsibility for this.
I have deposited the same business check around the first of the month into one my business accounts for at least 8 years. This month NBT put a 7 day hold on it. They were kind enough to mail a letter to me to inform me of the 7 day hold to which I received 8 days later - 6 business days. Business customers since January 2007.
