My commercial unit is not eligible for fibre upgrade but the unit next to me is, and they are both in the same building as the NBN box for the estate. When you ask NBN about this first they say there is nothing that can be done, then when you ask to escalate they ask you to contact a retail service provider to ask them to ask NBN about it. How is NBN's service this bad?

I’ve been trying to get an NBN fibre (FTTP) service connected to my rental property since early August 2025. The on-site technician visit installed the external and internal NBN boxes but immediately flagged a problem: there was no lead-in conduit from the pit to the property, so the connection could not be completed until that infrastructure was provided. This is ridiculous, I run my business through the internet and have lost 10s of thousands of dollars now. Moved into a new property and Telstra said they can upgrade for better speed for free, so obviously I said yes. But that was 3 months ago! And I still do not have internet. Nor is there a single way to talk to NBN co. All they say is talk to you ISP, which I do and they can’t actually talk to anyone either, they get emailed information but can’t get any answers or anything they just have to wait for updates.
