Had an awesome time at NBetween! The atmosphere is super cool—intimate, stylish, and full of character. The cocktails were creative, well-balanced, and clearly made with a lot of attention to detail. The whole place has a unique Japanese-inspired vibe that makes it feel completely different from your typical NYC cocktail bar. It’s an elegant speakeasy turned into a Japanese listening room. The atmosphere was quite nice. But the bartender seemed a little stressed out that day. The hospitality factor wasn’t there. The drinks were just OK. It was an interesting menu. Too many of the flavors clashed and didn’t compliment one another. I would probably have them revisit and do a lot of R&D when it comes to making the cocktails. Pretty decent place. If I’m in the area, I would probably swing by.
