What a true gent! I popped in unannounced to see if I could get a new battery fitted. He paused the job he was engaged with, fitted my battery, and then insisted no payment due. What a kind-hearted and generous fellow. Thank you again!!
Booked my Antara into Bascombe's after negative experiences at other garages. Had two glow plugs not function which was causing regen problems in the particulate filter. This was seen by other garage but was deleted Estimated price was given for the work including forced regen to clear system. The work was completed and all paperwork including readouts were given back to me. And I he final price was less than estimated price. Good clean premises and everything explained clearly. Whilst on holiday I had an issue with a rattling on my Tiguan. Found this garage close to me and asked them to have a look for me. They did so with no notice and diagnosed the problem which was a small piece of spring broken. The lads took it out and advised to change springs once home. Nothing was too much trouble for them and would highly recommend.
