Tonight, I tried Ethiopian food for the first time in my life. Immediately upon entering this establishment, we were welcomed with open arms by its sweet owner, who had the most genuine personality and contagious smile. He helped us pick something off the menu that he thought we would enjoy as beginners to the cuisine, and we absolutely loved it. Normally, this would be a 5 star review— the food is some of the best, most authentic Ethiopian food I’ve ever tried and the staff are pleasant and attentive. However, I will not be coming back to this restaurant after a horrifying experience. At the end of our delicious meal, we noticed that the table across from us pointed out a massive cockroach crawling up the wall.
