I went there this morning for my 8:30am Fibro-scan that was scheduled in April at my last visit. When I arrived early, the office appeared somewhat disorganized. The front desk staff explained that appointments had to be printed from the old system because of the transition to Advent Health. I was asked to sign my name on a clipboard to track my arrival. While waiting, two other patients arrived for FibroScan appointments as well. We were told the Synergy tech would not be there till 9am......not great, but we waited. Around... read more
Dr. Chowdhury is a very kind, professional and courteous gastroenterologist. He took over my care after I was diagnosed with Celiac at Mayo Clinic. I have been having complications related to deficiencies, needing additional endoscopy with dilation to allow easier swallowing and he has been extremely supportive. I love his office and his team. I also like that they have MyChart which makes it easy to communicate for Medication Refills etc.
They gave us a time to be there. He was late. Didn't arrive until 8:45am. We was dressed in jeans and plaid collared shirt while doing the colonosopy! No sterile scrubs, gloves, mask..nothing. thankful my sister is still ok after 2 days of procedure.
The procedure went well. The results were explained to us in a manner that was easily understood.
