We took our sons here when they were school aged and they liked it. We were able to look through their telescope to view a comet I believe. Recently, I wanted to take my grandsons there to hopefully see the shooting stars during the meteor shower that hit it’s peak on August 12, 2025, but was disappointed that they only had one date for public viewing and it was more than a week before the meteor shower. We went here last night for one of their public events. Way better than I expected. Not one telescope but 6 or 7 plus a photo telescope. Truly an amazing experience. Plenty of staff to direct you and keep you informed.
