10++++ I truly lucked out having Dr Khouzam as my heart surgeon. He exudes self confidence but in a humble manner. He put me at ease from the minute we met. During my hospitalization, nurses and "techs" informed me that he is the one they would go to if they needed surgery; in fact he operated on several nurses that were taking care of me. The very best Excellent. After doing research, I chose Dr. Khouzam to perform my lobectomy. During my stay in the hospital, I came to realize that he was the nurses pick for both cardiac and Thoracic surgery (in fact he operated on several nurses).I am more than pleased.
Simply the best Truly remarkable. He performed mitral valve surgery and was able to repair it. I just had an Echo, and the valve is working great...8 years later.
