Awesome Indian cuisine! Being a vegetarian I was pleased with the vegetarian/vegan options. If you prefer fire spicy they can do it and they do it right!! Want it mild? Also done perfectly! Friendly, caring and attentive service! Fun relaxing atmosphere!
Good food and service. Would go back. – We had dinner on a Saturday evening. No reservations needed. Pros: Food excellent. Service very good. Friendly staff. Lighting level for evening dinner was superb. So many restaurants are lit up like a high school cafeteria. Here, the lighting was very appropriate for the time of evening. A GOOD FIND – Have eaten my favorite cuisine (Indian) on the West Coast and know my way around the menu. The Lamb Saag @ Newab was very good, as were other items on their menu. Prepared properly I prefer an amount of red pepper to "pinch" and sprinkle over my food and they obliged. Aloo Gobhi, right amount of ginger. Veg. Biryani, flavorful. Garlic Nan, tender and flaky. Have been and will continue patronage of this fine establishment.
A great place to wake-up your taste-buds! – We tried out Nawab for lunch buffet on first ever trip to Winston-Salem. Nawab is definitely an excellent representation of Indian cuisine. The buffet items were a little mild for me but most patrons were non-Indian so I can see the reason. I made it a point to try a little bit of each item and the cooking was quite competent. Waste Restaurant – What a cheating in food!!! I ordered for Chicken Briyani for pick up but I got a rice mixed with chicken curry. Next price : This mixed rice is not even worth 3-4 dollars but charging 14 dollars. What kind of Restaurant it is!!!
not the best indian place in terms of food. the dining room is nice but the food is not nearly as good as golden india.
