I am writing to formally complain about the treatment my daughter received at your credit union, specifically during an interaction involving a manager named Michelle. What occurred left me with the strong belief that my daughter was racially profiled and treated differently because she is Black. Michelle is one of the most condescending managers that lacks depth and understanding for the member experience and customer service. I went in to deposit a cashier's check from a credit union down the road during my lunch break. I was aware of the check hold policy that states cashier's checks have a 1 day hold. However, when my check was scanned it was processed as a regular check. The MSR's reasoning was because the check did not have the words "CASHIER'S CHECK" displayed, which was an understandable cause for concern. I ... read more
