Buyer beware. Manufacturers warranty only good for a year. So they want you to buy theirs. If you pay for the insurance/ warranty, the store itself will not actually do anything even though you paid them. I purchased a 5 year warranty that covers electrical. I was handed a pamplet and told to just see them if there were any issues.
