My first visit to Dr. Changoor’s office in Winter Haven was a pleasant experience. Immediately from the front desk receptionist, Cynthia, I was greeted with respect, kindness, and professionalism. When I was called back to get worked up by Medical Assistant Nancy, I was also treated with kindness, respect, and compassion. This office failed to complete my cousins follow up appointment due to his insurance “not being in network”. They had no problem taking his insurance when he was admitted. And refused to complete the process even with authorization. Dr. Changoor and Advent Health is all about money, not the well being of patients. They have left my cousin permanently scarred to the point when he now requires a psychologist.
Despite the news that we received the doctor and the staff were excellent and they made us feel very comfortable and before we left the office we felt a little better but my son is scared but that's normal with this diagnosis and immediately start telling us exactly what r options r what we need to do and who's going to be calling us and that everything will be set up so thank you for making what I'm sure in the old days was a very bad thing but thank you is all I can say is his father thank you👍🏻
This individuals practice is all about being a merchant. Patient needs are not this practices priority Truly a disappointment since he seemed to care at the beginning only to find not the case at all. His priority is all financial. I will be looking elsewhere for medical assistance as my condition is truly unpleasant and hard to live with.
