Property is absolutely beautiful (pic as proof), the bridal cottage is adorable and I wasn’t able to find anywhere else as reasonably priced, especially not included places for bride & groom to get ready! During the final walkthrough they were attempting to upsell us different decorations etc. which is fine it’s a business. We did end up getting some tiki torches & table decor but every other decoration that we had was things I was allowed to bring myself. Really beautiful gardens and ponds along the river.
Incredibly negative experience. If you look through all the negative comments the pattern is VERY clear. Gaslighting, money grabber, selfish, and just clearly goes not care about the people who trust Karen to make the day special. DO NOT GO HERE.
Karen treated our bride on her special day terribly. She added an excessive amount of stress the day of by threatening to up charge for things that were previously negotiated. When one of the family members made a negative review and she called the bride while on her honey moon to take the review down or she would charge her more. Absolutely do not have your wedding here.
I was a bride in 2023 at Navarra Garden. Karen and I had agreed to a rainy day plan- as one does for an Oregon wedding in June- which was that the indoor spaces would be included if it rained on our special day. I get a text at 6am on my wedding day (as it’s pouring rain outside) from Karen saying that if I’d like to add on the indoor venue that it would 1500 additional dollars.
