This venue is absolutely stunning and the perfect place for a wedding. The river views are breathtaking, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the owner. They are so kind, professional, and go above and beyond to make everything perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a better person to work with
The venue itself is gorgeous. The grounds had us and our guests in awe, and there was truly nothing more magical than seeing our tables in the sunlight dappled oak grove. All that said, Karen the owner made the process a bit ridiculous. There were multiple instances of having to send back a copy of our paid invoice confirming that we had booked things like the bridal cottage the night before the wedding or the additional getting ready space the day of. Navarra Gardens was more than a just wedding venue for us- when we met Karen it was like meeting back again with an old friend. She was so attentive and kind with just the walkthrough. Throughout the year before the wedding we developed quite a close relationship considering we were just interested in her wonderful slice of Heaven like every other couple looking to get married there. (Event attended at the end of August) Location is beautiful but I have to say Karen is a riot. Controlling and tries to take over events. Cutting grass on someone big day? Reminding the guests that linens will be this much. Coming to the event as you please when all anyone would prefer is an event left for the actual invited to enjoy. Not to mention staff on site asking to take alcohol bottles as tips. It’s a great space but I’d recommend not staying somewhere where the owners can just barge in anytime they feel like.
Gorgeous venue with ample parking, a great selection of rental items, and all around the whole package. As soon as we saw the oak tree grove we were sold. Communication with the owner was always consistent and easy to get ahold of her for any questions we had along the way.
