The Navy Base outdoor pool is a fantastic spot for everyone. The water is clean and refreshing, perfect for swimming or just lounging around. There are plenty of comfortable chairs and shaded areas to relax. The lifeguards are friendly and make sure everyone stays safe. Families will love the kiddie pool and splash pad for the kids. Staff are great, very polite and professional. My only concern is: in past years there have been 4 lanes open for lap swim, for some reason they only opened two this year. There have been at least 10 instances I have shown up to swim and both lanes are full and there are people swimming laps in the open swim part of the pool. Probably creating an uncomfortable if not dangerous situation. The indoor lap pool is only open to 1 and not open on the weekends which severely restricts the ability to swim laps on base. Myself and my little sister had lots of fun with the slide and the diving board and the lifeguard's do a great job
