We had a wonderful stay here in Nauvoo! The suite was so charming. They upgraded our suite to a temple facing suite and it was wonderful to wake up and see the temple right out the balcony. They were so kind and accommodating with our very late check in. They made this an incredible experience for our first time in Nauvoo.
Unfortunately this a 1 star hotel. I stayed here 15 years ago and it was a beautiful old hotel, however returning now it is evident it hasn’t been maintained. For such a historic site, it needs a significant restoration effort, and not just a DIY upkeep job. We were surrounded by sloppy paint, dirty surfaces, and filthy carpets. Honestly, to the owners, take the hotel totally offline during the offseason and restore everything.
