Save your money. Food is nothing special restaurant has no special ambiance or anything like that. The only thing remotely special is the location. I was thinking 4 stars however this restaurant didn't just not stick the landing it completely flopped. food: okay 4/5 stars if it wasn't for everything else. Portion sizes are abysmal. Great atmosphere and taste in general. However, the duck is little too salty and the tempura oyster tacos got some bad smell in it.
I made a dinner reservation for my friend's birthday. The hostess would not seat us in the huge patio area even though it was empty at 5pm when they were just opening for dinner because I had reserved "dining rooms" on Open Table. There is no dining room, just a few tables next to the bar, none with a view. For the high food prices here I expected high quality, but the scallops tasted like they had been sitting in a salt bath for a week. No sweetness you expect to taste in fresh scallops. I went to Nautilus twice this weekend and had nothing but the best experience both times ! I made reservations ahead of time in preparation of Tall Ships coming to the city. We were seated promptly and greeted. Drinks took a bit of time but understandable due to the high volume, and the GM personally apologized along with the server. I will be definitely be back to try the food items they were out of due to such a crazy weekend . Everyone must try the Strawberry Matcha Ice Cream !!! Thanks Jenn& Nautilus Staff !
