I tried a sample of a bowl a couple weeks ago and decided to stop by. The sample was decent but upon arriving I saw that the counter looked kind of messy and it turned my appetite off. That’s not why the 1 star though- I left and looked into them more and learned that the owners keep the kids’ phones locked up (???? Who does this?!?) and that they have were on a weird contrived TikTok show (JoshLilJ) that exploits homeless people. Bailey was amazing! She welcomed me, answered my questions with enthusiasm, gave great suggestions for my first bowl, and made my treat quickly and beautifully. So delicious!
The cleanliness and service of the place was appalling. The food prep area was dirty, dropping utensils and not washing hands or wearing gloves. Its clear that sanitation is not a priority here. I won’t be returning and would advise others to avoid it for their own health.
