Had an issue but after talking to Howell, it was determined that I needed an inverter replaced and he sent the replacement right away. Service is good and product works well
Purchased the Elite generator, sat in my house unused except to charge the battery and now that I am trying to use it the battery went out so I replaced it and everything worked well for about a week then it started beeping, I ran through the troubleshooting and nothing. I called the company and was told the inverter was no good and it will cost me another $300 to replace it and at that price I have to do the replacement myself. Got this switch after having several power outages due to Wind. Got the 6 circuit system and had it professionally installed. Upon install, the electrician notified me that only 3 of the 6 circuits would work and that it must be a defect from the factory. In the photos you can see that nothing from the generator input is connected to the second bus bar. Leaving exactly 1/2 the circuits useless/dead/off during an outage. I only took one star for myself. The company is very smart and the only issue I had was that FEDx dropped it off at the wrong location but nothing was done y FEDX and naturally nature generator couldn't pay for Fedx's mistake so it took additional facts that finally came out and FEDX paid. I had a new replacement within three days.
