Carrie was a great guide! Our group of 6 had a wonderful day on the Mustang Island tour. In addition to Carrie being a strong kayaker, she was an expert in identifying DOZENS of migratory bird species during the trip. She read the group well in terms of paddling abilities and desired exertion levels. We also had a few opportunities to get out of the kayaks and enjoy some short hikes on the dunes and sand bars. Highly recommend her!
One of the best organized trips ive been on. Carrie gave us a selection of notes to choosefro., polled us on our abilities and interests and ensured everyone was safe and included.equipment was in great condition and she explained every aspect of the trip and birds we saw. Carrie leads excellent small-group, personalized kayak trips in the Corpus Christi area. We did a great float on the bay-side of Mustang Island, with a focus on birds, plants, and marsh ecology. Great trip!
