Fun area on top of the mountain for the kids to play and relax. We grabbed some ice cream and snacks at the store and rested before going down. We came here through Fireweed trail from Gondola One. Not very crowded on a weekday and air is super fresh. That said the walk here was a bit dusty. Despite the greenery, the mountain can definitely use some rain.
Great place - a fun stop over while biking. Lots of fun interactive things for kids to explore and learn …our kids learned about various alpine animals and then pointed them out later when we were at the top of vail in the summer! We asked how they knew what the animal was and they indicated they learned about them at the nature center!
