Had a new patient appt for January 5, 2024. We completed all paperwork, gave copies of insurance and all records transferred. My husband and I are both senior citizens but very active and healthy. I take diabetes medication and receive a yearly infusion for Osteoporosis. My husband has one heart stent and takes blood pressure medication and a statin. I have been a patients at Nature coast Primary Care since, 2017, Dr. Savage is very professional , friendly, caring and understanding. He always goes the extra mile to help you and to tackle any illness that you may have. Dr Dennis is a very provisional, caring, friendly and also goes the extra mile to help with any illness. I have never had any issues nor have a ever had trouble getting an appointment on short notice. I find the staff to be friendly and professional. My wife was a patient for going on two years at the clinic. I had to call and cancel two of her appointments with the clinic do to other health issues that needed action first. I received a letter in the mail stating she was discharged from the clinic. No reason in the letter just saying she was discharged as a patient. I called and was told the thier protocols automatically kicked her out as a patient. I am very unhappy with Dr, Savage and his staff. I have been a regular patient for years. Dr. Savage last year sent me to Elderly care to have them come to my home, the order states Dr. savage would see me on a needed basis . Not true. I have many underline heath issues, that need attention and testing. I can not get through to speak with Dr. Savage, Elderly care is not providing any service, not checking my blood, etc. Call them they do not have a provider in my area. I am a driver for my daughter many times to see her primary care. Nature coast primary care is in Crystal river. Her primary doctor is Doctor Savage Jr. He saw her for a few years. what I noticed all the times was that he did not show my daughter compassion, care for her health, or even empathy. He forwarded my daughter to a few PAs. in his office. The last one was a pip. This PA woman should not be servicing the public.
