Used to shop here a while ago when it was rainbow foods (great experience). Recently went there, and the prices seemed to be a bit higher than elsewhere. Sadly, the customer service there was not good. I realize it was one point in time, but the person at the checkout didn't even say a word to me as I approached, he rang me up, and didn't say goodbye, thank you, nothing. For this reason, I'll take my business elsewhere.

When I was shopping today at the Natural Food Pantry I asked Brain at the front desk where I would find the iced tea mix. He stared at me and looked at me like I was crazy. He said that it is normally not carried in the store. I told him that I had bought it here before. He asked for a brand name; I said "Organica" and that I had purchased it on clearance. Excellent selection of vitamins etc! Much better than Shoppers. Prices for what I bought were even cheaper than Amazon! Love that the staff are easy to speak with, friendly, and knowledgeable (and most importantly, actually available to help you if you need help!) For those speaking about higher prices, I guess those reviewers don't understand that Loblaws/Shoppers are significantly larger companies with over 2000 stores in Canada who purposefully undercut their prices to steal business from local stores like this. J’avais l’habitude d’aller à Nature Food Market à Langley en Colombie-Britannique et lorsque j’ai déménagé à Ottawa, j’ai eu peur de ne pas trouver son équivalent ici. Heureusement, j’ai découverts le magasin Natural Food Pantry dans la même année de mon déménagement. J’aime beaucoup aller à celui qui est situé à Britannia. These places (stores that cater to organic and vegan diets, etc) can be a bit pricey - but, I find them (this store) still cheaper than some of the other competitors. For instance, their single serving vegan gluten-free brown gravy envelope is a whole $1 cheaper than another place I went to for the same. Great selection / knowledgeable staff. I give them a thumbs-up!!
