Dishonest Business Practices – I used to eat at this restaurant for 4 years, but then chicken quality went down hill, prices keep going up! Then the last straw; Their kitchen manager, a big blow hard, with no people skills, I find out from the waiter that he tells the waiting staff to add extra charges to customers bills without telling them for things like croutons on your salad, if you want onions, etc, etc, etc. There are plenty of decent wing places to go, AVOID THE NATIVE NEW YORKER it is a awful place to eat! Awful service, flat beer, and horrible pizza – I have never paid so much for horrible service and food. We were there for a total of 3 hours. In that time span we saw our waitress a grand total of three times. When we did see her, she reeked of smoke and was EXTREMELY rude. We chose to eat in the dinning room and boy were we disssapointed. got ill after eating here – both my friend & i got violently ill after eating beef sandwiches here. we called to complain and were told the manager would call us back, which never happened. we reported them to the county but nothing came of it.
The Worst Service I Have Ever Experienced Anywhere in the Country! No Lie! – On a whim, my three friends and I decided to dine out at the Native New Yorker in Avondale (between the Red Robin and Harkins Theater). Big mistake. The service was the absolute worst Ive ever experienced in any restaurant from Phoenix to Chicago... and that's saying something. Good food, decent service, nice happy hours and weekday specials – The Asiago wings are awesome!! Washed down with $2.00 Sam Adams and you have a great night. The bar is separate from the restaurant area so if you dont like smoke with you food, youre in luck. There are plenty of TVs around and the servers are happy to turn your favorite team on.
