although this is not particularity an issue with Nationwide security systems particularity but with one of a company that sales/installs for them. this individual gained entry into the house by telling my 86 year old mother saying that the brinks system we had needed to be updated and implied he was with brinks in essence she was hard sold on a number of options and cost that was not needed and cornered her into the addition of a NVR. it was a classic bait and switch he then stated they would take care of the remaining contr... read more

Ive been with ****** here in Utah for years, for my home & business, and i have never been so happy to find a company that actually looks at me as more than a contract. I have been very happy with the people at Nationwide. I had a rep come to my door, and of course i never just sign on anything, i read the reviews, and the interesting comments. im sure everyone has their own experiences, but i don't know who those complaints dealt with. Stay Away !!! - Worst customer service and a rip off

Upon review of your account history, we note that we took extra steps to address your additional concerns above and beyond what is often afforded a normal customer because of strong demands. A nationwide salesman also came to my door , ignored the no soliciting sign on my door. walked into the back yard, and proceeded to try to sell me a security system. I asked him if he had an appointment he said no . I asked him to leave , at that time he started using scare tactics to try to get me to listen to him, . I tried to communicate to him that I was very busy and am interested in upgrading our current system.,I asked him to give me some time to think about it. but didn't buy any of his products. The obvious problems that this person is having in her neighborhood are unrelated to anything associated with a Nationwide Security representative. Yes, we work high crime areas at times in order to help protect the people of our community that are most vulnerable and able to benefit the most from our services "This is obviously one of those areas". WARNING I had a couple come to my door, one male one female, from Nationwide Security Solutions Inc. The male, Jon J. explained to me that they were offering free installation of a security system in exchange for advertising by placing their company's sign in my front yard. The system us valued at over $2,000. He explained they could afford to offer these for free to select advertising homes because it was less costly than other advertising I options. Sales person tricked me into a 3 year contract after saying I could cancel at anytime. Would have been nice to know that I can cancel, but only with a $5k+ fee!

We insure that all of our customers are familiar with the terms of their contract by doing 2 recorded surveys and also a physical contract. I am unsure how you would be able to be tricked but also complete 2 recorded surveys and signed a contract stating that you agree to the contract terms?

Sales rep knocked on my door today, ignoring the "No Soliciting" sign mounted on the door itself. I told him I was not interested in anything he had to offer. He continued to offer me services and information, and when I told him again, I'm not interested in ANY solicitation as my sign says, he responds by saying he's not selling anything. I once again said I'm not interested, and finally he rudely says when my house gets robbed, I'm going to want to call him. Our outside representatives are trained not to Solicit customers with No Soliciting signs posted and would never give the feedback stated by this customer. I feel that someone else may have used our company name if it was asked from them. There are a lot of unlicensed alarm companies working in Oregon right now and this wouldn't be the first complaint that we have heard of where another company was using our name.

This company went above and beyond to answer all of my questions. The customer service I received was well above what I have had with Vivint in the past.

I had a salesperson from nationwide visit and updated my system. Very professional and gave me satisfaction of good customer service
