After months of research and many calls/emails for tech advice, I applied PERMAKOTE PLUS over PERMABOND primer on a concrete slab roof where the original liquid membrane had deteriorated. The grinding and recoating project was at a house my firm built in 2012, and the resulting finish is ideal for the modern, custom structure. Working with products that clean up with water gets extra points. Thanks to Brion for his patience and quick response to my many questions.
My asphalt 3 tab roof was 25 years old and starting to get brittle. The gutters were getting full of the stone off the shingles. One full coat of Roof Protective coating and the shingles became more pliable. Stone covering stopped shedding. Great product. Extending the roof replacement a few more years.
I had a positive experience with Shingle Sealer application. 3000 ftsq I used an airless sprayer with a 413 nozzle. that seemed about right for consistent oval pattern. The whole job took 3 hours after all the preparation, which consisted of pressure washing the asphalt tiles and letting dry for few days. I calipered the tile thickness. Going to check in 3 and then 6 years. If degradation is none or minimal, going to reapply. Brion in phone sales is an excellent resource. Very friendly and helpful.
