Stay away from this company! I ordered approx. $45 of merchandise with shipping costs "estimated" at about $15 at the time of sale. I later received an order confirmation the next day confirming my transaction and the costs exactly. It was only later that I discovered that they charged my Amex more than $20 extra!...my $45 dollars of merchandise was now more than $80! Great Service and Shipping – Ordered 4 Alvin drafting tables for our new office and received with in 3 days !. Shipment was free and the truck driver even helped bring them inside to our office. My boss was very happy and I intend to order more from this company when the need comes up. Thanks again!
Enjoyable experince – In my dealings with this company i find that the serivce is great! After browsing though a fewother companies trying to find what i was looking for i found this company that happened to have soemthing that was the closest i could find to what i needed. Alvin Complete 4-Piece Creative Center. I found it at a great price and had it shipped to me with little hassle. My main reason for choosing them was there Better business bureau rating of A+.
DO NOT do business with this unscrupulous merchant – I called this merchant because they were advertising the Alvin TT-499 tray for my drafting table which I needed as a replacement part. I called this merchant because Alvin has discontinued this part replacing it with something else, (the TT-599 that is not the same type of item and will not fit my needs) and Alvin suggested that I call some of their retailers as they might have the discontinued item yet in stock. Shipping a huge problem. Redelivery charges out of your control based on their assumptions. – Shipping is a huge problem. This is a middle man. Assumptions are made that cause redelivery charges. Especially true in the NY to NC East Area. He hires unreliable shippers that don't respond to his problems because he doesn't do a big enough volume with them.
