After recently having a near miss with the April 9th 2015 tornado, my husband and I decided it was time to become storm spotters. We drove to Vernon Hills Illinois to take the class given by the National Weather Service. Thank you for the education. We hope & pray that these new skills will not only help us stay safe but others too through our future reports to the NWS.
