I was recently booked in for a free steering and suspension check. Dropped my car off at 8.30am as requested, and I was told they would try and get it done before lunch. I called at 3.45pm as I'd heard nothing from them to be told it wasn't yet completed and they will do it straight away. Stay away from halfords!!! I booked my car in for a MOT for 11.50am got it there 10 mins early and dropped it off. 1 hr later a guy rang us and said we can't mot your car as oil is to high. I had checked my oil and it wasn't. The guy asked who serviced my car it was Halfords so I had to prove it to him and bring all my paperwork in. He then told he would ring when it got done he never rang because it never got done. I picked my car up at 6pm and asked for a refund. I think the review is unfair. Excellent service. Got a puncture it couldn't be repaired and they were nice to help even being very busy. Very nice people and a fair price too. I was surprised they did not try to sell me the most expensive tyre. I am more than grateful.
