I had to go back and get the recommendations completed a few days Back. All works done without issue. Yesterday I developed a horrible rattle squeezing and tinny noise while the car was moving. I took the care Back to the shop and explained what was happening and how serious the sound seemed. The lovely people here had my car up on a ramp in minutes and found stone in my breaks. I'd never know this to happen before. Very unsettling. A Big thanks to the team for sorting so quickly. 🙏 Amazing 👏
Booked in to get wheels balanced and tracked. £58 in total as I felt tyres were rumbling slightly at higher speeds, so I started with the cheapest possible solution. They rang me mid-job saying they can't balance the front right wheel as there's slight play in it (which I already knew about). They told me the technician has had a proper good look and knows what the fix is and they would replace the inner and outer rod ends, which would definitely fix the issue. £480 I got billed, and upon driving it's the same. Do not use these scammers, they will try bill you for work that dont need doing. Even put a complaint in at head office, for them to pass back to halfords/widnes, case closed without contacting back. The Job needed doing should of took 1 day max, my car was in/out the garage for nearly 3 weeks where they aint a clue what their doing. They even damaged the oil pipe, where they fixed work that didn't need doing, they changed oil/filter/glow plugs, to try and fix a dpf issue.
