Stowe House is in the center of 300+ acres of land and from the public car park it's a fair walk. However there are shuttle carts running around. Stowe House is a working school so during term times dinner access will be restricted. The house tour is very worth while, with a fascinating history. As you walk around the gardens you'll find more and more buildings to explore. A great day out.
Fabulous day at Stowe Gardens, plenty to see, worth doing for the spectacular drive to the Gardens. Well worth a visit.
