Attended dog show in the grounds well run and a lot of fun!
This is a National Trust site, entrance and parking is free for members. After 16 days in Cornwall I regret not looking into a membership, it would have been cheaper than buying entrance and parking to all the places we visited. Anyway, the castle is well kept the volunteers are very knowledgeable and engage with you. They have a kind of treasure hunt for children to keep them occupied. Genuinely one of the best National Trust sites you would ever visit. Something for everyone, the castle is already impressive but the grounds are so much better. Very accessible and facilities are great please visit and enjoy everything they have to offer
Such a spectacular place, well conserved by the National Trust, so much to see and do. Really need a full day to see it all.
