The house is well worth a visit. We have looked round twice and enjoyed it both times. The grounds and parkland are lovely but there is nowhere where you are permitted to let your dog off the lead so if you want to exercise your dog properly, which is not possible on the lead, you'll have to look elsewhere.
Not a great deal there to be honest. Pleasant enough, though Hanbury Hall and Croome are far more interesting places to visit (in different ways). There are some wonderful paintings there though.
Interesting visit.
Lovely old castle extensively converted into a stately home over last 700yrs.
