This shop tried to oversell me a transmission when a clutch was needed. I brought my truck in because I was having trouble getting into gear. They diagnosed it as a transmission issue. They told me that the input bearing on the transmission was worn and that was causing the input shaft to walk and not allow the clutch to release. I was told that this was a common problem with this transmission (M5OD R1) but I can't find a single forum post about this.
