Avoid any property managed by NRE Management Corp. I lived at Geneva Apartments in St. Louis and experienced mold, leaking sewage pipes, broken security doors, flooding in common areas, pest issues, and trip hazards—all ignored by management. They are attempting to charge tenants the $120 city inspection fee, but the STL city ordinance clearly states that landlords are NOT allowed to charge people for this fee. This tells me this company has no knowledge of renting and landlord/tenant rights. NOTE!!: If they charged you a fee during the application/lease, demand it back in writing/email, otherwise if they don't give it to you, pursue legal action and go to small claims court.

do not rent on the Southwood Avenue location. Ashley Ann is the new manager there and does not respect privacy, lacks communication, and lies. They come into the apartment whenever they want and make messes everywhere and leave it. They have let a technician into my apartment multiple times, even though I explained to them I have anxiety problems, especially with this technician that has been inappropriate in the past, yeah they still let him in. Property manager Mioko has been very helpful in getting my bathroom renovated and responded quickly and after-hours when there was a leakage that would have flooded the bathroom overnight. Thumbs up!
