We offer a 500 hour, in-person diploma program for aspiring fitness and health professionals that want to learn in a classroom and a gym. We are a VA approved school, and also offer continuing education courses. Our goal is to provide each and every student with the highest level of education and training. Graduates go on to lead successful careers in the fitness industry, corporate wellness fields, as well as opening up their own fitness facilities. We are a proud academic partner of The National Academy of Sports Medicine.

NPTI has been an outstanding experience. It’s really one of those hidden gems that only those who are passionate will discover. The instructor is the best of the best, he really knows his craft, funny guy too always keeping students engaged and in check when it comes to knowledge. The lovely woman in charge is such a humble sweet human. She really keeps everything in smooth working order, understands that life happens and keeps the atmosphere full of good vibes, sometimes surprises us with scrumptious healthy food. Great instructor who knows his craft!
I graduated in June 2016. Chris Hitchko was the instructor and I loved how he was able to intertwine his gym in Santa Monica Show Up Fitness to help us get actual reps training people. Unfortunately he is no longer teaching there, he has his own academy in West Hollywood Show Up Academy. You can't hold that against NPTI though. Still a great program (6-months), a little pricey (almost 7k), and an awesome way to begin your career as a trainer.
