Staffs were very helpful when I needed to borrow money, I was told that the money will be deposited into my account with in a week, and surely it was deposited as promised.
Completely nasty customer care. Called to check on a policy that I was thinking of extending and ask questions about said policy. Lady on the phone obviously didn't want to help. Cut my questions off before I could get them out of my mouth and really treated me like crap. This Navy vet and career firefighter had some pretty thick skin so what this person did didn't hurt feelings but this is the kind of crap company's are handing to people that do business with. I was trying to pay my annual bill but website is so cumbersome I can't figure out how to do it. The site keeps trying to get me to log in again and again. I bought this policy many years ago when it was Ohio National.
The only thing worse than their website functionality is their customer service which appears to be non-existent. Don't bother trying to reach a real person, I tried for half an hour and was disconnected four times before giving up. I've tried emailing them but I have very low expectations regarding a response. If I had any way to change companies I would do so immediately. I have never dealt with a financial institution that has such poor customer support.
Wife received a letter near the end of the “term” of her life insurance policy, informing her that the annual rate would increase by $8000! We thought it was a mistake but after a 30 minute wait on the phone, we were told it was correct. BTW, my wife is in excellent health. This should be illegal
