Went on honor system day. Pond was lovley; pricing right; simple procedures. Great way to kayak, especially given we were beginners. Sunset was amazing... 3 hour rental $22. Thank you park service!!
Easy canoe, kayak and paddle board launch. Small swimming area.
Had a mix up with our reservation and they 100% made it right for us. Super convenient location and we had a great time on the beautiful lake. FYI for out of towners unfamiliar with the area, there is a small roped off section in the lake for little kid swimmers and it’s quite shallow for easy swimming for 100 ft or so out from the shore. There’s a small grassy area with enough space for several groups to lay out towels and hang out.
