Indeed the tests are extremely difficult which is the point. I have known people with college degrees & 15+ years experience that couldn't pass the tests after multiple attempts. I just got my first ASE Certification and no school. I have only had 1 vehicle return with an issue during my first 100 services. I now have close to 18,000 services performed and still only that 1 vehicle on 1 service that has returned with an issue. All the bad reviews are from people that couldn't pass the test. They're hard tests. Don't whine if they ask difficult questions that you can't answer. It's a good opportunity to showcase your knowledge, if you have any.
Horrible customer service. The tests are unrealistic. Please don’t bother, they are ruining the automotive community
It’s a ripoff there all about getting your money, charging you a registration fee even if you just change your test selections!
