I want to commend National Grid for their outstanding service, especially two of their employees, Ian and Phil. They responded quickly when we reported the smell of gas in our home and handled the situation with professionalism and care from start to finish. They say that monopolies are illegal in America, and yet we are forced to work with companies like this without any local competition. How is this okay? They will tell you that an appointment is scheduled for service activation and then repeatedly no show on you. I've been trying to get my service activated for over a week now and now they are going to make us wait the weekend. Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!
