National Grid, thank you so much for shutting off our heat two weeks ago, letting us go FOUR DAYS with no heat for our 3 month old and dog. It was a simple misunderstanding that I could’ve sworn was fixed but jokes on me cuz y’all turned it off AGAIN! Never I d the well being of my infant as your customer service told me that that didn’t matter as it was an emergency (my child’s welfare but whatever). I have made 4 appointments to get a lock taken off of a gas meter. They have not showed up to any of these appointments or called me. I gave them 2 different phone numbers that they could call. I can't seem to get them to do their job.
My bill has jumped $300 in the last six months! It seems like everytime I loose power because of an outage my bill jumps! This is outrageous! I'm on a fixed income, I don't have another $300 every month for this. I keep everything turned off, except my oxygen which I need to live. It's gone from $200 a month in the summer with A/C running to almost $500 this month with propane heat! My bill should be lower in the winter, not higher. Customer Service is a joke, no help at all.
