National Grid installed an ILLEGAL STREETLIGHT directly across the street from my home. It pours daylight through my windows at night. There is no guard on the blue-white high beam that is illegally lighting up the interior of my home all night. I called everyone I was told to call and was told it would be corrected within 7-10 days. That was almost EIGHT WEEKS AGO. The light is still burning into my home every night. Rates continue to climb and service continues to nosedive. Every rep will tell you something different and then the next one will act like you're an idiot or lying when you tell them what s previous representative said. National Greed should be disbanded by the state or at least barred from operating within the state. (I'm in upstate NY.)

If I could give you a zero, I would. You canceled my policy and didn't tell me, lied about calling me, and won't turn my power back on, but rushed to my house to turn it off. A horrible company is what you are. You have put my family and me in danger because the temps are almost in the 90s, but I can't do anything because the temp is 86. This is atrocious for a company to be this cruel and greedy. I pay you around 500 a month and expect you to pay me almost 1,000 for you to turn my power on. Dealing with this company has been extremely frustrating. The cost of electricity and gas skyrockets during the winter, which is already a difficult time for many families, yet there’s little to no support offered. Instead of working with customers, the approach feels harsh—constant pressure, warnings about service shutoffs, and very little flexibility even when payments are being made in smaller amounts. I have been in my new residence since December 9, 2025 and have not yet received an electricity bill to date. I have contacted customer service more than four times and asked for them to do a meter reading and submit a reading so that I can keep my account current. I have still not received an invoice for electricity, only for my natural gas consumption. Supposedly they have escalated the issue but here it is February 23 and I still have not gotten an invoice.
