Second time I've been left with no vehicle after having a reservation weeks in advance at the Billings airport. Flight landed, clerk said they were out of cars and to come back at 10am the next morning. 10am next morning, no cars. Desk clerk seemed genuinely pleased to tell me he was "very sorry...i understand". Figure it out folks. You should be able to forecast needs and move cars around or just set limits and don't overbook.
We were delayed out of SLC on the 19th. I spoke with Mary from National to let her know we were arriving late and still needed our truck- rental! She was kind and understanding and said no problem your rental will still be available! We arrived 3 hours later to Billings and once our luggage was secured we went to the counter where we met Mary!! I travel for work and ONLY use national. This location is a perfect example of why I do. They were super polite, the car was nice, and getting in and out was easy. Thanks again from a business traveler!
