Wow! Poor customer service even from a sup named Michael. No matter where you go this card gets declined. Why have this HSA card if it doesn’t work. NBS wants you to pay out of pocket for over the counter items then send for reimbursement. That’s putting more work for the member. I tried to file a grievance with the sup Michael and he kept talking over me. Very unprofessional. This HSA company is horrible.
I am so disappointed for NBS because I always got denied the card when I used it this year. After many calls, and finally I got the email to explain why. Because I paid the payment in Jan, 2024 which is for the treatment in December 2023. But I got the bill in 2024. As a foreigner I didn’t know that I cannot use the money in NBS card to pay the bill in 2024. But why they did not deny at that time. Now they told me to pay the payment in 2023. Don't ever use this company if you can avoid it. You get a surgery or any legit medical services they will deny it and send you an email to prove it. Go to the ED if you a heart attack they will deny it until you prove it with multiple emails and calls. Horrible business. Please dont respond with your your AI respones. Just fix your horrible business practices. I got denied for not having the date of procedure. Trying to set up direct deposit information and the system needs to sends verification codes to do anything, which is fine. But these codes take over two hours to get and by then I need to log back in which requires a new code. I tried to contact the customer service line and the gentleman who answered can't understand me and I can't understand him. This has been very frustrating. I just want to access my money to get reimbursed for a medical bill. It shouldn't be this hard!!!!
This place is not a place where good-hearted people work.Or somewhere that anyone can consider a home or a safe living. environment they only care about their money and we'll kick you out over a ridiculous reason. Not even concerned that you might relapse if put back on the street within a moment's notice and will give you an hour to get your stuff and throw you right back out to the wolves.
