If I could give zero stars I would , I have experienced nothing but repeated long hold times, difficulty reaching a supervisor, and a lack of continuity between calls. In some cases, there appeared to be no notes on my file from prior conversations, which required me to restate my situation multiple times after being on hold for 50 minutes waiting for a supervisor, when I asked the next person said “sometimes computers can shut off” how convenient right after waiting for a supervisor escalation. If I could give 0 stars I would. I purchased a vehicle and had a small portion financed with National Bank (not by my choice but via the dealer). The vehicle was written off, and National Bank has continued to change the dates and time at which I would receive the rest of the pay out. They don’t answer their phones, or call you back after leaving a message. They guide you to the call centre, who tells you that you need to speak with the branch. I recently met with banking advisor Shreyas Joseph at National Bank, and he was excellent. He took the time to clearly explain student loans as well as RRSP and RESP options in a way that was easy to understand and very relevant for my situation as a student. His guidance helped me see how to plan both for my current studies and for the future. My main concern is with the bank’s lending side. Worst bank I have ever dealt with in my life so rude. Employees from each branch have no idea what they are doing. Never do business with them trust me and save your self a headache.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. After my mom passed away the branch still hasn't transferred the funds even after signing papers & providing all the documents, it has been 10 months & still not transferred. Jerome Bautista won't return multiple phone calls or emails, even the manager Preeti Sharma didn't follow up to make sure it was dealt with after speaking with her one the phone.
