If I could give less than 1 star I would. After my mom passed away the branch still hasn't transferred the funds even after signing papers & providing all the documents, it has been 10 months & still not transferred. Jerome Bautista won't return multiple phone calls or emails, even the manager Preeti Sharma didn't follow up to make sure it was dealt with after speaking with her one the phone. The simple process of changing my dad’s address for his credit card statement (with a legal Power of Attorney document in hand) turned into a long ridiculous procedure. 2 hours later and 2 trips downtown I will find out if it is approved later this week. Not a user friendly bank at all. If you are looking for a bank, do yourself a favor and don’t choose this one!
I’ll be honest, in the past I have had some minor issues however they were dealt with promptly. Ideally those issues shouldn’t have happened but we are all human. I’ve been with this particular branch for 12 years and with the nbc for 20 years. I was concerned with loosing my financial advisor to retirement and fortunately I am very pleased with the replacement I currently have.
