Our family had a fantastic night watching the hot air balloon competition and a stunning Drone Show!
Had a great night! Loved the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels! Look forward to seeing them every year at the festival! Even though the balloons were grounded because of the weather, they put on a fabulous night glow! AND spectacular airshow by the 3D drones! Looking forward to 2027!
The announcer over the PA system should give updates on the balloon launch. I've been to this event 4 times over the years, never saw a balloon fly yet because of weather. You pay for tickets to see hot air balloons, and all you get to do is hear an average band play. There needs to be more free activities for kids. There's a small tractor that pulls little kiddie carts for $3 for about a minute ride, pure cash grab, shame on them. Please try to make a plan where there should be some refund (partial or full) if the balloon didn't go up due to weather or some other reasons. This time we went to see this festival, but there were no balloons although the weather was really fine.
